violet valentine
david and i spent last weekend drinking valentines. this weekend he's in Korea drinking soju - i don't think there's much comparison!
to make your valentines, muddle 2 raspberries, 3/4 ounce maraschino liqueur (i used the cognac from a posh jar of morello cherries ) and 1/2 ounce violet syrup. strain into two flutes and top with bubbly (we used prosecco), garnishing with a twisted lemon peel strip.
