FAVOURITES
These are some of my favourite recipes, dishes which I make time and again as well as those which show the kind of food I like to cook and eat. If you try any of the recipes, leave a comment and let me know what you think.
I’ve made this twice in the past couple of weeks and have really loved it each time.
Let’s start with a breakfast option - shakshuka. to be fair though, this tomato and egg dish is equally delicious for lunch or supper.
A gorgeous non-alcoholic drink and well worth making if you find strawberries cheap.
This sweet potato rosti was not the easiest thing to make.
A Brazilian style chimichurri and toasted pepita (pumpkin seed) and coriander pesto. Plus Yucatan pink pickled onions.
This dish straddles the seasons nicely, being full of fresh summer flavours whilst also looking towards cooler weather when you know you want something warm and a great depth of flavour.
This is very simply put together, with a nice light flavour that worked really well with some fried cod seasoned lightly with salt and lime juice.
This was wonderful with lots of interesting flavours and a complexity that was well worth the effort.
We ate this with warmed pitta breads, which were wonderful for soaking up the broth as well as scooping up bits of dish.
This was the perfect thing to eat on a warm summer’s evening.
