scrambled eggs with smoked salt
when i decided to celebrate world egg day it was so i could try some new ways of cooking with eggs, and see how my fellow food bloggers use them. this meant not making meringues, cakes or scrambled eggs, my usual egg options.
but then i moved house and sank into a bit of a cooking rut - having a kitchen full of boxes is not particularly inspiring. i’ve eaten variations of the same broccoli pasta recipe (recipe to follow later this week) three times in the past week and have been sticking to old favourites like risotto, crab linguine and mackerel and spinach pilaf.
and i’ve been eating lots of scrambled eggs. so here they are, but with halen mon's sea salt smoked over welsh oak sprinkled on top in an effort to at least peek out of my rut.
